NSX NA-1 Vtec Controller from Spoon Sports Japan

VERY RARE!!
I have for sale a Spoon Sports Japan NSX V-Tec controller. This is for the NA-1 NSXs. It is unused and has all wiring and instructions. The unit has a knob that mounts in the interior that says Spoon on it. It is a nice unit, I bought it about 7 months ago in the hopes my fiance would install it for me, but he is so busy I never get my car worked on and its pointless to just look at it everyday without being able to use it, somebody might as well get some use out of it. (and I also spent a lot of $$ on it, so its not doing any good sitting around, at least I can get some of what I paid for it back)
I will post pics of it tonight, I dont have my camera with me right now...

This is a very rare item. I was very lucky to be able to find it in the first place, I had it special ordered from Japan. And I after I got the item, all the instructions were in Japanese (go figure) So I had to special order a set of directions from Spoon Sports in English.

[NSX Status]

I just wanted some more info about that spoon v-tec controller.... Is it better than other control units? what is special about this one? Just asking and interested....thank you:smile:

Hello- to be honest with you, I dont know a lot of technical performance stuff about the NSX like as far as is one unit better than another for this car..I dont know...you would really have to do your own research on that...I just purchased this unit directly from Japan. Our shop goes there about every 6-8 months or so to get engines and stuff, and we ran across some Spoon Sports items that we picked up..They had the Vtec controller for the NA1 and the guys called me and asked me if I wanted them to get it for me while they were there. I said hell yes, becuase you just cant find hardly any Spoon items for the NSX here in the states. So...it cost me around $400 maybe a little more..its been a while since I bought it. The recommended setting on this controller is between 4500-5000 rpms, and you can set it from inside your vehicle.
