Last heard, as noted in Brian's link above, they were fugitives on the run from their creditors and customers.

No. Autowave, in Huntington Beach, has a good reputation, and none of the principals are the same.

Gosh, what a mess those guys were! Lucky that it came out early enough so no other members got scammed .

Obviously not the same guys. Autowave has attention to detail, responsible, and fair $$$. Shane knows how to take care of the customer.

Has this clown been found or brought to justice? Reading the thread about his practices made me want to track him down and say hello up close.

That is horrible what he did. Hopefully he will face up to being a POS and resurface (if he already hasn't) and take care of all those he wronged.
