Mesh Engine Cover with rubber seals, prop rod, and mounting hinges. This is a great deal for NSX-T owners that wants the Mesh engine look, the complete cover makes swaping the cover in and out very easy.
This engine cover weighs 6 lbs, 7.5 lbs less than the stock cover. The center section is cut out, the remaining ribs are removed from the under side, and the entire cover is sanded (top and underside). The cover is very smooth on top with all of the fuzz stuff removed. Wire mesh is then inserted and bent to retain the shape of the stock engine cover (the center section is raised towards the front and tapers down as it heads back). The finish is flat black.
There is nothing wrong with this unit, only selling to upgrade to a carbon fiber unit.
