wow I thought it was every 30,000 thanks for this info I couldnt find it
Although the wiki page recommends valve clearance
inspection/adjustment every 15,000 miles,
which was the schedule for 1991 cars,
Honda relaxed this in later model years to 30,000 miles.
I think the page could stand to be modified to mention
this; I've started a thread in the Wiki discussion forum.

The price can vary greatly. A 30K inspection at Los Gatos Acura was $1300. This might be negotiable now that the economy is soft.

There is a significant misunderstanding here.
For 1997+ models a 30K service is an oil change, valve adjustment, and an air filter. The rest is inspection of various components.
For 1991-96 it is the same as above, add trans service and brake fluid flush.
There is no way either of these services are $1300. If it was, I would be on permanent vacation in Belise
.Please do yourself a favor and seek other quotes.
More like in the $450-$600 range.
