The price...

Is correct. This is the ORIGINAL NSX watch that Acura sold (or gave away to selected buyers) in 1991.

There are 2 Unique numbers on the watch (Possibly s/n's) NSX 027 and BD592. No scratches. New battery. Comes with extruded aluminum stand.

Jacob Jenson NSX Watch

Produced for a limited time, no longer available from Acura. It was offered when the Acura NSX was first released. It comes in a very interesting package design consisting of an aluminum extrusion with a felt liner. The watch is very nicely designed and made. The bracelet and case are constructed of titanium and 316 stainless steel. It is water-resistant to 30 meters. The glass is made from sapphire crystal. It has a precision Swiss internal movement and is powered by a standard #362 watch battery. Newer variations of this watch (non-NSX) sell for more than $350. The exclusive and limited production nature of this NSX watch make it highly desirable. Jacob Jensen is the award-winning designer behind the Bang-Olufson stereo equipment and is highly regarded in design circles.

I've got #005,who knows maye I can retire early depending on how much #27 sells for!;) BTW it is a unique timepiece. On some of the literature with the watch it says circle:macrolon,Joint:Elastomere,Clockwork:ETA normflatline. On the back of the case it says :by Max Rene Denmark.

I have one too. I believe there were only about 50 of these made. You are right in that similiar watches may go for $350.00 but here http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Memoabilia/listmemorabilia.htm
you'll see a original price of over $1400.00.
Incidently in my quest to acquire this watch I contacted Mr. Jensen himself and he did not remember making the NSX watch until I provided him with a photo of one to which he replied it was a long time ago and he did not make very many and offered to sell me a similar watch but not the NSX watch.
It's simple, they don't make them anymore, they are worth what you are willing to pay it is a very limited edition collector piece.
I did not pay $1500. but did pay much more than $350.00.
