Hey All,
It looks like recently, our stable of NSX's here in the bay area have been hit with a little bit of Teutonic fever. I was at the Stevens Creek Porsche dealership here in San Jose yesterday when I noticed a silver NSX-T with the Comptech SC parked in the back of the dealership. I asked the salesman about it, and he mentioned that a gentleman came by this past weekend and traded it in for the 996 Twin Turbo. I mentioned this to Vytas, and he stated that on Saturday for the monthly lunch meeting, someone else had sold their white NSX for a 996TT as well.
The reason for this post is to wish these two lucky owners much happiness with their cars, and hope that they maintain contact with our community. Have fun guys! Perhaps you will return to us in the near future with the introduction of the 2004 NSX!

Did they have a price for the silver car yet?
There is someone in our area looking for one.

How much is a used 996 turbo going for these days? There is no doubt it is much more car performance wise. On the other hand, it is not near as sexy -- and the interior is awful. That being said, I would love to drive on someday!

I think that silver CTSC NSX belongs to Tom Hunt.

We got an email from him saying that he sold the NSX this past Sat and got an '02 996TT.

Funny thing is that earlier that Sat. Tom still had the silver NSX and showed up at the club lunch, where he was checking out the *other* 996TT that Vytas referenced above.

I supposed after the club lunch Tom went over to the Porsche dealership and got the turbo...

I'm happy for Tom that he bought a 996TT.
I hope he maintains his ties with us.
The 996 TT is approximately $125k. The salesman mentioned that they would not sell over MSRP, but the car's price varies, depending on what options are on the car. He may even be able to deliver it within a month or two.

Take care,
J.

Len, please forward the information about the person in your area who is interested in it to my email at [email protected] I would be happy to provide you more info. It turns out that a friend of mine works at the dealership, and I may have some inside info. Actually, no one knows about the car yet, since they haven't prepped it.
Take care,
J.

He should be emailing you at the above e-mail. I have a P-car in the garage that I am trying to sell. I wouldn't mind the TT but I've already spent enough of my kids college education money.
Thanks
Len

Local members Tom and Steve both swapped SC NSXen for 996 Turbos. BTW, Stevens Creek Porsche/Audi has a Silver GT2. Anyone want to buy an SC Zanardi in perfect condition?

Hrm ... I was there Saturday, and saw both the Porsche and the (a?) 2000 Silver NSX-T as well.

I am still thinking about moving to the 2000 Silver T in the near future, does anyone know for sure that car is available?

I doubt I could ever be talked into buying a Porsche though, just can't get past the looks (sorry Porsche fans...)

Steve with the white SC car with BBS LM and brembo brakes? Or is it some other Steve?

996 TT is definitely nice.

Hey Ted, I'm sorry to hear that you had car problem and didn't make Thunderhill. Well, there is always a next time. Maybe check out my event on Nov 24

I think my buddy at the dealership has a screw loose. I read the message that Tom sent to the list, and I believe that his silver NSX-T SC is not available for sale. Rather, it think it is sitting at the dealership for the new owner to pick up. Sorry for the faulty information.
I hope Tom stays in contact with us NSX guys.

Tom emailed me stating that he'll definitely stay in touch. Expect to see him at the next club lunch and future driving events. Just because you sell your NSX doesn't mean you have to lose your NSX friends.
