Does someone know where I can buy the "Tappet Adjuster Tool" (Part#07MAA-PR70110) and the "Tappet Locknut Wrench" (Part# 07MMA-PR70120) they are both listed in the service manual to adjust the valves. I called several dealers and they tell me they don't know where to buy the tools. I want to adjust the valves on my 2001 and these tools seem like an easy and precise way to do it. Thanks in advance.

That dealership does not have them in stock either and they said it will take 3 weeks to get.

I'm starting to get the idea now that pretty much no one stocks this obscure little dinky thing, and why would they?

I'm just going to do the normal thing and place an order with my local dealer.

If you get the one from the dealership, there not cheap. I got a 10mm valve adjustment tool from Snap On. On Line.
does exactly the same as the dealership tool.

P/N : YA8895
Desc : 10MM VALV WR
Price : 63.80/each $68.00 shipped.

They use to have them on Amazon for $25. I guess they got sold out and never carried them again.

This really sucks because I lent mine out to another prime member and never got it back. Now, I can't buy a cheap replacement.

Please comment on how you adjust exhaust valves in the NSX with that, because there is no room for this tool in the engine bay;).

Sounds like the 3 weeks is not really a big deal:).

BTW, no dealership stocks tools.

Call them out here!!

Yes, he does want a valve adjustment and the size of the tool (10mm) is correct, but this tool will not work unless the engine is out of the car:). The handle is too long. Great for an Integra though;).

I cut the handle down on this one(http://www.sptool.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=97&category_id=26&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=11 and it works great. Of course they have updated the tool to have a soft rubbery grip. Mine has the old (prefered) hard plastic.
