I have just been through the Above saga and want to ensure others dont have the same experience. I took my car to Honda at Bristol and for £100 was told that to get my power steering working again it would cost me £1500........................
So I went to the web and here is my story.
1. I believe the fault can register as more than one code but mine was code 22.
2. I then visited http://www.nsxcb.co.uk/testvb/showthread.php?t=7051&highlight=power+steering+light which identified the cause
3. I then followed http://nsxe-repair.com/FW-removal.html for the removal of the offending Board.
4. Went to RS components online & ordered 2 X part No:2509650948 costing £2.92 each + vat & handling - This is the original relay cos I dont know the exact part No for the better rated relay that others talk about.
5. Tried to remove the first relay myself and made an a--e of it, so went to a local electronics engineering company who fixed my bodge and replaced both relays for £25. He also mentioned that the trick is to use 2 people with 2 soldering irons to remove the old one correctly.
6. I reinstalled it in the car & low & behold it all worked and I had saved the magnificent sum of £1456.. not bad for a couple of hours work...

Great stuff!
I have a '91 and the EPS computer failed on me in the early in '01 but there were no information on the net. re repairs. So the dealer replaced the whole module. Then a few years back, the steering rack gave and only way was to replace with a new rack whcih would be $$$. I was fortunate to source an older unit and been OK since.
Now there are source to re-build the EPS module which would be a great saving. Also found technicans at dealer are not at all familiarised with NSX repairs anymore. The car is too old and most of them left years ago.
I now service the car at an independent and try to source major parts direct from the States.
