NSX Engine in a sports prototype running a dry sump system

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone here fitted the NSX engine to a Transaxle gearbox to run in a single seater / prototype car?

Anybody gone down this road?

To answer your question, no I have not tried this. I do have one comment/observation: Not too thrilled about the timing belt being exposed like it is. Just my opinion, but it needs to be covered, to keep anything from getting near it that could cause a failure. I see alot of parts missing for the covers, including the modified valve covers to exclude the ability to cover the belt.

I'm guessing it is exposed so they have access to the adjustable cam gears.
