Wow, nice before and after shots. Where is this and how much do they charge to detail the whole car? Did the Detail Dynamics stuff work better than the 3M stuff?

This was a detailing day where two vendors showed their products at Jake Tomlinson & Co's body shop in Sacramento. Jake and Co. do detailing and are located in Auburn, CA (near Sac.)

The before and after's were done with the Detailing Dynamics products. See our website.

I will let the other members who attended respond regarding the comparison between the vendors since I represent one.

I do detailing here in Santa Clara or at your location. I'm the one in the blue shirt showcasing and demoing my products in the During picture.

Hi Ken,

Detailing Dynamics was developed inhouse so it is exclusive. We've tested against both and we perform very favorably on clarity, depth and durability.

Here's is a quick comparison:

Zaino:
Good- Durability and Gloss
Bad- Too many steps, Incompatible with other products- must remove all other chemicals to use

Zymol:
Good- Marketing, Ultra High Name Branding, Sponsor many shows
Bad- poor durability (see the NSXCA Southwest wax tests)

Detailing Dynamics:
Good- Durability and Gloss, Ease of Use, products for enthusiast developed by detailers
Bad- we are a startup and unknown but at an exciting time

So the real question is ZZ or DD?:D

Ken, haven't seen you in a long while. How's the jazz gig?

question for white93nsx

is your product only design for professional detailer's use??

Or it actually be able to use by normal car enthusiast with "WAX on, WAX off" using normal clean applicator / clean cotten towel??

If so, would you PM me how to get your products and the cost??

I liked Zymol a lot, but like you said, it's not durable, I can tell it lost its shine and water beading ability in less than a month. ps. I only used the cheap off the shelf Zymol, so my vedict maybe a little different than those who use the expansive one.

Hi NSXDreamer2,

I PM'd you and the products are for consumers use by hand or with an orbital polisher.

Short answer, price, instruction on our website Online Store. See our selection guides for product and applicators to help with your decision which is in our Tip of the Month section.
