BTW, a neat venue for a lunch/dinner gathering would be Trattoria Lisina in Driftwood, a nice location not too far from town (compared to other restaurant/wineries). Harris Hill Road, Driftwood, Wimberley, Gruene, etc - are all not too far off & provide nice scenic drives.
