Hey guys, I live in colorado springs and am in the market for a NSX. However it seems they're ALL located in some other state. Any tips you can give on having a car shipped from out of state? Dealing/money exchange w/ someone located out of state and getting it checked out before they get the money? Oh yeah and anything to look for other than snap ring issue like timing belt change, pump change? Thanks

I'm in Denver. CA or Texas will be your two big markets that you should look for as they are a lot of NSXes there and the driving is bearable back to CO.

If you buy the car from NSXPriime, then you might be able to stretch further as you might not have to see the car in person and have another fellow Prime member check it out for you and have the car transported. I got a deal on mine from Prime and the car was in Virginia. Transporting the car ran about 1000. I had it transported to CA because I had some plans on having the car modded out there where most of the parts were available cheap.

A good deal on a NSX comes by but you will need to have cash in hand to move quick, only reason I got mine. If you are getting a loan you should have it pre-approved at least.

I could probably help you more as I am about to acquire my dealer's license and I sell my cars at reasonable markups since it is also a hobby of mine so I let car goes for a lot less profit. But I will be away to Thailand for a month to be a monk, so I'm not taking under any ventures at the moment.

What is your price range and specs you are looking for. The more detailed the better.

Regards,
Ton

Theres one in the denver newpaper for sale....it's a 96 T going for $38,900..there phone number is 303-699-9022!!!! Hopefully this will help you,so that way you dont have to go out of state. Good luck in your search!!!

yeah, I've checked out nationwide. I figure most people living someplace other than cali or florida would had to buy cars sight unseen and had them shipped. There are good deals all over the place, and surprisingly they didn't get swiped up yet. I just thought maybe someone in colorado here might of gotten theirs shipped here and share a little info on what they went through. I COULD just wait till I move BACK to warm sunny cali, possibly late summer, but i want one NOW, lol. Also being in the military, or well atleast dealing with my squadron, it's a pain in the butt getting leave approved for anything not too far away, time wise. They want like 2 months notice first... blah blah blah, garbage! So my travels would be limited to something along the colorado borders or so if I want to drive it home. Yeah, home being california, work being stuck out in frozen colorado.

stick e rice huh? Love that stuff. I take it you're thai, well using my only obvious clues lol. Well that or Lao but then why would u be in thailand? Anyhow I did the whole monk think many many years ago like when I was 10-11 or so. I hated shaving my eyebrows. So why are you doing the monk thing now? Its is ritual for you to go over so often or is this something you might be doing for a passing family member? I just never met anyone who become a monk while I was an adult, just interested in hearing and understanding what your/their thoughts were.

Hi Koolaid,

I'm doing it for my family and the merger at the restaurant creates the opportunity to do so now. I am Thai, you are correct. You are supposed to do it before you get married for it to be worth anything to your parents. I promised then a while back and it is due since I am now 28, and marriage will be a possibility in the near future.

I live in both CA an CO, but I spend more time in CO.

Timing seems to be key when looking for the NSX. Multiple buyers are always interested when one is listed for sale at a reasonable price. It comes down to records and the credibility of who you are up against.

If you buy a car from another prime member here, u can do quite a bit of research on their car. You have advantage if you have cash in hand and some buyers didn't follow through before.

Do lots of research before getting a NSX. There are quite of bit of vehicles that have clear titles but have accident history.

Good Luck. Cheers.
