if you got the money, a widebody would definately be hot....other than that, stock looks nice already...a wingswest kit would definately look clean too...no real loser between these 3 choices....

No offense to anyone because I'm a firm believe in to each his own but...

I'm yet to see any body kit that improves the lines of the stock NSX. And I've seen a lot that really ruin them. But that's my opinion.

Really? Including this one and this one?

I think the stock NSX is pretty close to perfect already, but if I had to pick a body style that took it to the next level it would be either one of these.

Yes, including both of those. I don't argue that those are nice looking cars but I think the OEM NSX (esp. the flip up headlight model) is about as close to perfection as you're going to get. But again, that's just my opinion.

While I still appreciate the clean and beautiful lines of a stock NSX (afterall, it is what I first fell in love with), I absolutely love the look of a well-done wide body NSX, accentuated with properly offset and styled wheels.

I also like the look of a Wings West NSX, but only when the pieces are sagging and drooping.

Obviously you'll get hundreds of different opinions on what configuration looks best on the NSX. It's just like asking which woman (or man for those Prime females) is the best looking, totally subjective and everyone has their own individual tastes. To me that is part of the fun of the car is personalizing it.

Personally I like a wide variety of looks on the NSX, including many widebody kits like Cantrell GT & JGTC. Others I really don't care for at all even though I always see many people rave about them: Comptech widebody comes to mind immediately (although their products are great).

Each to their own and as long as you enjoy what you have that is the important thing!

Be a PURIST! Keep it stock. NSX design is truly timeless.

I definitely agree that the NSX design is timeless. Even today it looks completely like a modern car design. I'm sure everyone has many experiences with people surprised that the design, and for many people the car, is 10+ years old.

However, as timeless as the design is I obviously love widebodys, as I should since I own one! Nico's widebody and Ron's widebody are both stunning!

In the end I couldn't agree more with Prime User and Da Hapa's sentiment, everyone enjoy what they like and who cares what others think.

yup!! I'll be joinin' the wideboy community in a month or two:tongue:

I favour the second choice. If it was me I would go for a complete 2002 type-R replica mods for the body. For the wheels any of the HRE wheels design and would need coilover preferably HKS hypermax for its comfortablility and the exhaust would be any of those high pitch ones. Stacy sideskirts are also nice add on to the car.

Widebody if the car is built for the big show. Everyday usage would be a hassle for me. Ask me how I know. Mine is the blue one.

Why would a widebody be a hassel? to drive? to wide for the road? do share you experience....

I could be wrong but I believe Jin may be referring to his own personal hassle with having a modded car like that in Brunei. In the past he's mentioned having troubles with local authorities since the car is not stock as may be required by law or just drew too much attention from them. I can't think of why a widebody would be a hassle in itself.

We drive ours quite a bit and the only hassles we experience don't come from it being a widebody but are: lowered with larger wheels = rubbing near full lock & the largest reason why ours can be a pain is the Recaro seats. The seats are awesome in appearance and more comfortable than stock in both our opinions. However getting into and out of them is quite a bit more difficult than the stock seats and if you're out running errands it can get tiresome.

I can't really think of any reason why a widebody is inherently more of a hassle for the average person, but would certainly like to hear Jin's opinion too. Do be prepared to be the center of attention most everywhere you go though, that might be a hassle for some.

1. Too much unwanted attention.
2. Cost of 18 and 19 tires.
3. Going through narrow road is a nightmare.
4. Parking could sometime be a little a problem due to the width of the car.
5. The car became unstable at speed beyond 200km/hr. Mine was with Tein RA lowered to max. Maybe the bodykit was not tested in the wind tunnel for its aerodynamic.
6. Here if you mod your car too much sometimes the insurance company won't cover the car incase of accident.

A lot of my friends said to me it was a waste to remove the bodykit. But for me safety and comfort worth more than that. At the end of the day its up to the individual to choose. The bodykit on the white NSX used to be on another NSX and the original owner revert back to original probably the same reason as mine.

Can someone chime in whether this may be true with alllll widebody or just Socery version I. Ty, Seth, or anyone else?

I personally love the scoop side skirts, WW in particular. I am also a HUGE fan of the stock Pop-Up Lights. I love them, they just seem swift to me.

And I definitely think this looks

With our Cantrell JGTC this has been NO issue at all. The car has been over 200 km/hr (just over 124mph) many times with no stability issues at all. I can't recall either Seth or Chris (when he had our panels on) ever mentioning this as an issue either. I'm suprised actually that Jin had that experience.

The parking to me isn't an issue since I also have a full size truck (Silverado) that is just as cumbersome to park. We also don't have any narrow roads here in Arizona and if you're used to a full size truck/SUV it's not like the widebody NSX is really THAT wide.

you like cuz it's black

Thanks understudy......

Wow!!! the blue car really stands out.. A picture speaks a thousand words, well Thousand$$$$$ of words.
Even at a huge cost the widebody is where it's at.
An Aluminum widebody kit would be even better.

Original Body is why we all love this car over others.... The rims must be changed on all stock cars though.... I don't care if it is a ferrari or pinto, the big difference is the wheels... The car is a classic, if you tear it up with a wide body, your just gonna put the stock stuff back on sooner or later... Before or after an accident.....Think about it..... The wide body kits look great right now but will look cheap and over-rated in 5, 10, 20 years...JUST MY OPINION.....

I love the kit, it looks nice, but I think it could do better without the rear spoiler, OEM might have looked cleaner..... Nice NSX!
