Anyone know the NSX that is for sale at Ontario motor car? Or anyone know the dealer, are they reliable?

the car is pretty cheap, ran a carfax with the VIN they give and it seems clear of problems, anyone know anything on it?

section Acura, the NSX is only 24950, it has some milleage but not something that worries me on an NSX...

thanks for any feedback

its been for sale for about a year and a half now
needs a clutch and i believe some other service work
has about 160,000 kms on it
and i pass by it on my way to the office pretty much every day
doesn't look in the greatest shape either

thanks, really appreciated, i will give them a call tuesday and see what they have to say.

If it ends up being interesting, are you interested in stopping by to give it a quick look?

Still on the hunt for an NSX Alex? The P-car not cutting it for you?

I say if its in decent shape, and you plan to mod the shit out of it, go for it.

i would keep both, porsche for a daily driver and the NSX for a weekend warrior. I don't want to put the Porsche too extreme, it just runs too well.

I would though modify the NSX more extreme since it is a 17 year old car.

I just don't have the money to buy a more expensive nsx at the moment, my dream would be to get a 1997+ yellow but they are still too expensive.

I think it's an attractive price to get you into an NSX. Like was previously suggested, expect some work after the fact - clutch timing belt etc...but if you're doing any forced induction etc then that's no biggie because you'll have it appart anyway.

I would only really avoid it if it's had damage or significant body work.

there is a VIN in his pics and i did a carfax, everything seems to be fine.

Carfax is nice, but on the other hand I could destroy every panel on my car and put it back together with silly putty and touch-up paint and Carfax would still be clean. Nothing like a first-hand, professional inspection. Hope it works out!

i agree, unfortunatly it is a little bit far from my place so i'll have to see it by myself after a big drive.

At least clean carfax is a good start...

i decided i would go take a look at it today
and unfortunately its sold

i did get the inside scoop though
needed about $6,000 in service
so thats probably clutch, timing belt, water pump etc

What about the other one? there's still one on the site for $28K+.

If I owned that dealership, I'd change the name to Ontario Motor Group, so I can use the url OMG.ca

Well you just saved me a long distance call :)

Oyagi, i beleive it is the same car, they just kind of relisted it instead of changing the price. From the pics, they seem to be the same VIN so same car, two different ads.

unless kaz1116 confirms that there was an other car there...

thanks for taking a look and taking the info for me, really appreciated.

No Problem at all ... I don't mind doing things for people who appreciate my help.
There was only one of these there... it was the Owners personal car
and by the way, the car went to someone in London
