Guys, I seem to have a slight problem.
Last Friday I (finally) picked up my red/black '94 NSX and drove it home. Since then I've clocked over 400 miles driving it just about anywhere I could think of (both day and night). The sound of the engine, the acceleration, it's all highly addictive.
It's this just a case of 'the new toy' thing and will it pass or will this become a permanent habbit and addiction for which I should seek psychiatric help ??

Apparently, there's no cure for such syndrome but researchers are working on a remedy called 2004 NSX. It has been known that NSX owners are more addicted to VTEC than smokers addicted to cigarettes.

LOL. Eventually, your problem will worsen and you will find yourself driving 400 miles going absolutely nowhere.

I actually did stop smoking at the beginning of the year, but quiting the NSX is a completely different story...........

I don't even have an NSX yet, and I think I might be addicted. Of course, recognizing the issue is the first step to recovery.... :-)

Started racing go-karts (1985)moved up the ladder to F-Ford & GT untill habit was to costly and quit in 1993. Went through withdraw for 9 years. March 2002, saw an NSX @ Acura dealer. Drove it, I liked it. Tried to reason myself back to stability and to look elsewhere. Drove a Viper, ZO6, & 911. Last week a bought a NSX, but it won't be in my hands until next week. Is counciling in order....

Hey at least your not alone .....
We are sorry to tell you (and I'm sure I speak for all)It gets worse as time goes on first comes the late night runs (by yourself).
Then a little octane booster while out at the auto store.
Endless hours of tireless research on every NSX based website and online NSX based performance part distributers.
You know you have got a problem when your mod supplier knows you by 1st name and starts saying dont worry about the check in advance (I'll just order it and send the lute when you get a chance)
You start being identified as the guy w/ the Yellow/blue/ black etc. NSX
You decide to hold off on having kids just yet because you realize your too young to teach the young..
A shot of NOS
A little Basch Boost
A front lip
Rims and tires
A louder exhaust.
A set of coil-overs (you need to be able to formula 1 race your way to work)and for groceries.
Hey you never know when some little old lady will try to pass you in route to get to the parking spot faster than you w/ possibly a better line. and better brakes etc etc etc.

Ok, it seems the message is clear from you all.
There seems to be no cure for this illness.
I will have to sell my NSX again.

I really thought I was strong enough to withstand the temptation. It's really sad I have to admit I have not yet reached the maturity needed to own and drive a NSX.
I will have to stick with my humble Citroen AX then for the time being.

You don't buy the NSX to put it in the garage. You DRIVE it and ENJOY it, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Just kidding of course.
It's just I'm enjoying the car so much it seems unreal. Just looking at it makes me feel good.
Never believed I would ever buy my dream car and now I actually have it.

Same thing here...and yes, I'm also an addict!

Last night weather was very nice, so I couldn't resist and drove the NSX around town for a while.
Very unexpectedly, I see an ex-girlfriend I broke up with year-and-a-half ago. At the time she quit because she though I was some kind of loser and somebody else could do better (for her). She just could not believe the car I am driving now. However, the girlfriend she was with (and which I know) was all over the car (and me).

Thank God my current fiance' loves MYNSX almost as much as me otherwise (she wouldn't be w/ me) as in "I'd" choose one that did .Theres noone I know who dives deaper into a project other than myself.Otherwise whats all the work week after week for??
