NSX 2004 Pictures???

I got these off the web digging around for NSX pictures a few weeks ago... but it's not until now that i noticed the 'NSX04' rego and "Honda Concept 2003" in the corner! What the...???

Anyone else seen these or got any info?
Another magazine concept design maybe?

Sure looks like a 02 front clip and rear valance, although the upper portion of the rear differs. It sure looks like another computor generated design, but who knows. I suppose Acura could be using those aspects of the 02 model I mentioned above with some additional re-design of body, engine & suspension like the evolutioin of the 911. Any side pixs ?

Those are regular pictures that have been run through a photoshop filter to make them look hand-sketched. One clue that they are filtered is that the "sketch effect" is too regular. Of course who knows what manipulations were done to the image between photographing it and filtering it - filtering it also has the side-effect of hiding the clues that would indi cate a bad photoshop job of a real picture.

i've tried to locate where i originally got these from, with no luck coz i got then using an image search engine... can't retrace my steps after 3 weeks.

Jerryw: when i saw these, i lept to that conclusion too: photoshop. But u can't conclusively tell they are filtered becoz of the JPEG compression. but it's very possible they are concepts from a magazine, and they always use real photos.

there's also a couple of changes that interest me: the rear KINDA looks like an s2000 (no fin + lights) and it wouldn't surprise me if honda did this. Also, the car looks wider to me.

i'd give it a 0.0000001% chance of being a leak from Honda, so it's probably fake... perhaps somebody has seen the original photos in a mag/website? Let's hope honda don't use 12yr olds to design the NSX...

Actually, the magazines tend to be the worst source really. They do more photoshopping in the interest of selling issues than anyone. There is a "NEW NSX!" scoop weekly in the JDM mags.

Unless the picture has been shown at a Honda press conference, I personally ignore it.

likewise... but i still find it interesting when concept pix come out from magazines/fans coz it usually initates some funny discussions (eg. NetViper's comments above

) ... so u r rite; they are to be treated with a large pinch of salt.

HOT NSX: yeah: sure does! maybe the above pix were done years ago for the 2002 model?
