Read it a couple of days ago, believe it's 150,000 plus a donor 50,000 Shelby 500.

Agreed......still a cool car.....Screw the Shelby name on it, buy the parts and build your own. It makes me sick how much they charge for Saleen, Shelby, etc...names on the car.....buy a 2-3 year old model cheaper too....

Back in the 80s I saw a photo of a white mustang show car owned by Steve Saleen, I found him in California, and bought one of his first bodykits: Side skirts, rear valence, air dam, etc..and retro fitted along with other parts off a SVO mustang to my 1979 Mustang V8 pace car edition. Painted everything but the trim white, my painter thought I was nuts. I had in fact created the first Saleen mustang product in Texas. Back in those days, the only mono chromatic like this was AMG Mercedes. So Buy a base model v8 or gt and modify to your own style, and save money too....

Props to Shelby and Ford. I like what they are doing, but like a couple guys mentioned above, it all comes down to personal taste. The car can have 2000hp, but it's still gonna be a "Mustang" in my eyes. I'll give it a thumbs up, then respectfully pass.
