Currently taking on installs on all turbo and supercharger kits In the GTA area. Dyno results supplied when done. All work done by a factory NSX tech with over 20 years experience. 400 - 850HP. Also can do engine work. Have your car done for spring.

This is big news for the community! You should post this in the NE section and Midwest sections of Prime if you haven't already as Toronto will be a lot closer for many of the owners in those areas as well!

So any bets on how long it takes Dave to yank his CTSC and install a big ass turbo???
 
so awesome.

If I had a car that didn't have to pass smog every 20minutes, Id do it! Currently only way to have an OBDII FI NSX with cats is to have a supercharged one.
 
BioBanker, Bob at Driving Ambition had a newer used whipple for sale a week or so ago. Not sure if High boost or not, give him a call.
Its not an autorotor but I am enjoying mine.
8lb whipple is a nice drivable baby. The 6 is even nice as well.

Just talked to Ct engineering and set up plans to take off where Woodbine Acura left off. Will email with prices asap.

Yep, that is what I was talking about!
Seans talking about me ripping the SC out and putting a turbo in there instead. I would have done that already if I didn't have smog here. That said, the autorotor has been awesome.
 
Damn, that's convenient! :eek: I was thinking that Cody is not that far away, but if Rob can do it, even better!

Anyone have the scoop on emissions? Will lovefab pass ontario driveclean?

Rob, how does the tuning for the lovefab work? Will you be doing it? Or do they provide a map that "just works"?

Cody agrees its hard and a hassel bringing the car over the border. I once did a Miata turbo kit with stand alone Links ecu with no cats and it passed! This was only a 2speed test with no dyno test because it was too low. We should be able to pass if we have a lean map just for e tests. Cody will be setting me up with base tuning maps he uses and we can modify from there depending on different cars and mods. Most likely there will be some dyno time fine tuning the setup for each install.

Not really...don't take the Itrader rating as the gospel or else Dali Racing would have been out the door years ago.

If you read factorynsxtech's Itrader its due to not going thru with buying someone's wheels...take it with a grain of salt.

I believe factorynsxtech has owned multiple NSX's and worked on them for years so back to topic he's willing to install SC's and Turbo's for us NSX enthusiasts. Props.

I know Rob personally, he has worked on my car and I'd give him a rating of 10/10! The iTrader facts are more complicated, and if you'll note, the -1 comes from the ONLY review he got, not "telling" more like a bad buying experience, I've bought stuff from him (not using Prime) and he came through and helped install the stuff (let me learn, did most of the work)

He's a VERY SOLID GUY - if I wanted my car to be blown, I'd trust him to do it - but I wouldn't take Dave up on his offers to blow my car!:wink:
 
Yeah - forget about that trader rating, Ive delt with Rob a bunch and it has been amazing every time.

He's the mechanic who looks after my car.
Great prices but even better service.
He stands behind his work.

Im so uninterested in what that trader rating shows that Im not even going to open to read it. Whatever it says, its wrong.
 
Thanks for the support guys. The -1 was from a set of wheels I was interested in and then decided it wasnt what I wanted. No money changed hands and no body got burned. Its that simple and the truth. This is full disclosure and thats how I work.

Hahaha, I can't believe someone is getting bent out of shape over the -1 trader rating (oh noes!!!!11!).

Some bonehead gave me a -1 as well because I wouldn't sell him my old recaros even though I didn't promise him anything and no money exhanged hands. Holy crap what a drama case. The funny thing is that the seats are for sale again as my buyer just sold his car but there's no way I'd ever tell him where to go to get them.
