I think it's been going back and forth between Modesto and Las Vegas for a couple of years. It was Newark, NJ in the 90's, but the Central Valley and Vegas are popping up lately.

Modesto used to be the theft capital but Stockton and LV now hold that title. I live in Modesto and I have never even heard of that shop ...

That Salida car show is ghetto and tacky. I drove BY last year and never even drove back that direction. Saw the pictures a few days later on another forum and don't regret it. Very few good car shows in the central valley unless you are into low riders or classic/muscle cars. The valley is EXCELLENT for classic and muscle cars. Import cars? You might as well bring a can of flat black primer to touch up your hood for this import show.

I believe the new trend is to have black primer hoods and a bike rack on the roof now or something.

BTW, Viet...... don't go to that show. Unless you really want to have the only nsx there. You might actually win their "best of show" because of it, or they'll "hate on you" for some reason or another. I think that show is by the 4 wheel parts in Salida, it should be on the 99 frontage road on the eastern side of the highway.

Thank you for the invite Mike but I think we are taking the boat and jet ski out that weekend. That's one reason why I like living here, Pedro and McClure are so close. If any plans change I will see if we can make it.
