non-adjustable suspension setup?

I'm in search of a good performance non-adjustable suspension setup. In the faq, people seem to have mixed opinion on progressive(eibach) and linear(h&r) springs. I'm after performance but yet not too harsh on streets and not too wide of a wheel gap between the wheel and fender. If the zanardi setup is an inch lower, I would have bought it in a heartbeat!

Which of the following setup will you guys prefer?

1. eibach + oem dampers
2. h&r + oem dampers
3. oem spring + bilsteins
4. eibach + bilsteins
5. h&r + bilsteins
6. zanardi spring + bilsteins
7. eibach + zanardi dampers
8. h&r + zanardi dampers

Your comment is greatly appreciated.

Anybody knows if there's a set springs that have the same spring rate as the zanardi springs but 1 - 1.5 inch lower?

Don't forget, you can lower the car using any set of springs if you have Bilstein shocks and install them on the lower mounting perch.

First - I bought H&R springs with stock wheels and shocks. Too much bounce and way too low.

I worked with a vendor who had tried about everything on and off the track. Phil M. of CGI Motorsports listened to what I wanted from a suspension setup for over a 1/2 hour before recommending anything. I wanted excellent streetability, more confidence at the track, slightly lower, no tinkering to do, etc. and he recommended the eibach + bilsteins (top setting).

I have been VERY happy with this setup and the ride is very comperable to the Z suspension (I drove his brothers car a little to compare). Very confident on the track as well. Happy with the service and price too. Give him a call if you are interested in buying a solution and not some parts: http://WWW.CGIMOTORSPORTS.COM is the URL. Good luck to you whatever you decide.
