Noise and vibration from rear between 1~2 shift

I have been getting strange noise/rattle from behind, almost sounds like it is from the trunk area or under the car.

Took the car to Southcoast Acura for check up, motor mount and engine mount is perfectly fine, they said the noise is likely from the clutch, but not 100% sure.

It rattles when I idle off the line without giving any gas, and rattle lightly in 1~2 shift. Felt and sounds like a rocking chair, something must have came loose. If I slip the clutch there is no rattle.

Any suggestion or opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a problem with the damper springs in your clutch - just a guess.

I agree with NSX-Racer. Do you by chance have an aftermarket clutch?

Another thought would be a motor mount. Check them all.

Thanks everyone, I have oem clutch, 22k miles.

The motor and transmission mounts was checked by Southcoast Acura. They said the motor mounts are fine. They may not have checked them all.
