I am checking out the new season of powerblock on Spike TV and it looks like Car and Driver TV is gone and I don't see it on their website????

Yeah, its been gone for a month or so, I always enjoyed it. I wish network executives would call me and ask my opinion before cancelling really good shows
that is a bummer. more car shows being taken off the air:frown:
That does kind of suck. Hopefully it wasn't replaced by another Nascar or 4x4 show.
On another note, I'm liking that test drive show. I don't remember what the host's name is but he has either celebrities or other professional drivers come out and play around on the track. I'm more partial to Top gear and 5th gear, but it's still a great show.

Yeah, no kidding! Soon Speed Channel will be nascar/redneck tv. No offense to rednecks.

No way?? You like that show? I'll watch it because I'll watch most any show about cars, but that show is just an advertisement for the cars. The host never, ever says anything bad about the car. It's so watered down as to be meaningless from a review perspective.

time for some guy with a kentucky waterfall to crack open a beer and add a 6" lift to a jeep... on TV. even that tuner show that was on for a while had some redneck hiphop twins... they are annoying.

I thought something was amiss when my Tivo didn't record Car and Driver this week. It was one of my don't miss shows since my cable doesn't get speed channel. Larry Webster wasn't the perfect host but he at least gave insightful opinions on the cars.

Yeah, your right on that one. The show never got to me, it gets borring after a while, I would like to see Motor Trend. And one more thing about the Powerblock....NO MORE (dare I say it) HICK SHOWS! Every time they are always building 4x4s and supped muscle cars. Why not take a cheap MR2 and make it a auto-X car, or take a 240sx and make it an affordable yet very useable street car. Sorry, I had to let it out, but It has been btoerhing me every since.
One thing I did notice about Spike TV was a new hostess. Yep, Courtney Hansen formerly of Overhaulin' is now pitchin' the shows on Spike.
