If only we can get VA on the bandwagon...
I haven't put my front plate on yet. I carry it in the passenger compartment. I supposed I'll pay for this some day, but the car looks so much better without.
I don't have mine on either. All the Corvettes I've seen don't either, as well as half of the other sports cars I see on the road. I was at the Manassas Burger King meet yesterday, and I don't recall anyone having front plates (but I wasn't looking either). Plus, on the '02+ NSXs, there's no flat surface the size of a plate on the front...
haha. being from VA and residing in MD, it would be nice to have the 1-plate passed.
As many times as you have been pulled over Greg.....lol That would be awesome. My dads Lambo has none and I was driving when it was, that sucked. If its passed. I'm gonna have to pull the front tag off my NSX. It looks soo much better without it.

I live in Florida and we dont require a plate upfront, so I dont know if I have any place to talk about it but, what does it serve being up front, I mean, if the Plate was backwards like the letters on the front of an Ambulance yeah maybe but really? what does it serve? how much money can be saved if they only needed to Print one plate instead of 2 ya know? my 2 cents. and those guys with-out the plate, they probably would just pay the fine, and keep driving with-out it ya know.
Supposedly Md would save $500k-$700k by dropping the front plate. I've paid nearly that much in fines for no front tag over the last 3 years. lol :frown:

I have mine on and I live in Fairfax County which is why I follow the rules. 
I only WISH I could remove it, but it's not worth the tickets. I could careless on the cost of the ticket, it's declaring them on my background with clearances for the work I do.

Hate the hassle of being pulled over so when I did finally got pulled over in my NSX for no front tag, I got the SOS front tag bracket, doesnt look too hateful. Charles Counties finest pulled me over
After fighting it for years and trying "disappearing plates" etc, I've finally come to the conclusion to just run the front plate. While most LEO's probably don't care, there is going to be a few that will look for this excuse to pull me over. And I just don't need or want that aggrivation.
Virginia is SO conservative, that they are not ever likely to remove the front plates (and not likely to repeal the radar detection ban) - but I've always wondered, if so many other states think it is ok, how does Virginia lawmakers decide otherwise??
But it is funny - I always look at the front end of Corvettes, and my guess is half of them don't run plates in Virginia. What is up with that?? They're special??? Jay

JayWell ,there is a little discrimination with the imports vs domestics thing. But I have heard of a few vette owners that have gotten some real bad harassment from LEO before. One being getting tickets for: Exhaust, tint, and no front plate. The cop even told him to scrape the tint off the window before he could drive it away, otherwise he'd get towed.
