I am on my last weekend with these OZ Racing wheels, but thought I would see how they looked w/o centercaps...

yuppers...

On that type of NSX & those particular wheels: yes. Sans' center-caps looks more racey/edgy, but still 'clean'. Very F40'esque. . .

(I guess black-out enamel around the center hub area?)

i never use center caps on any of my cars...
not on my volks, rays, watanabe, etc...

always looks better... just ensure the center hub is clean and not rusty

No cap looks better.....

Since you already took the center caps off, you're one step closer to removing the wheels....please do so, they look terrible. Nah, im just kidding. I must say though, that without the center caps, they do look better, kinda like some old school Japanese wheels. With the caps, they look so O.Z.ish.

Tough call because yes ,the wheels look racier without ,but on a street car you get to show off the rusty inner front hub and the cool rear axle nut:wink:

 definitly with out. The extra rotational mass with the center caps installed during high speed corning will throw off the perfect balance of the nsx, not to mention the extra heat generated during late/trail braking.

I guess I'm in the extreme minority here. I prefer the look with the center caps. Just looks a lot cleaner IMO. Of course I also prefer the black top on the NSX as well. Oh, and I also like flat soda!

Keep the caps on. If you want the same look, use the stock wheels. I've seen a stock set painted a flat black color caps off and it looks extremely racey.

I am not keeping these, but (in my last few days with them bolted on) I was curious as to the look... It's hard to go wrong with a 5-spoke on any car, and these look really cool (imo) with no center caps, being 3-piece wheels... a sort of '80s supercar' look.

Get rid of those wheels ASAP! Ugliest things of ever seen. Your car looked so much better before.

That's what black paint is for though.

Definitely like it w/o center caps on those wheels. What new wheels are you getting? Are they HRE's that you mentioned in a previous post?

I bought the HRE's approx 4 months ago, but managed to bend one of the fronts bad enough to cause a shimmy... I bought these to drive around on during the 2-weeks of wheel repair, but the black wheels should be finished by tomorrow; I have debated refinishing these, perhaps having them stripped and polished, but few people seem to like the look unless I spend time convincing them to like it

The black/polished lip is a 'safe alternative' of sorts, and I like the look very much with a black top, but what keeps me liking these wheels, at least to a degree, is the larger sidewall, and ability to run OEM tires (if I so desired); the car also has a better stance, and I can turn my wheel full lock without rubbing my fender liners.
