Saw this in the Automobile magazine article on the Ford GT prototype.

There's a cable linkage, and it's interesting that the engineering team's benchmark for cable shifter quality is the Acura NSX, which was also McLaren F1 designer Gordon Murray's shifter-quality hero.

Of course later, an article mentioned the "aging NSX".

I personally favor the Desert Eagle .50

LOL... entertaining, even if we have digressed from the topic.

WilsonP : yeah, many magz I've read always state the "aging NSX"... as if the author can claim to defy aging.

Terence,

Your pics of the Auto Mag definitely remind me of WWII gun designs. Speaking of the Desert Eagle .50, it's one of my favorite handguns too. Plently of people dislike it due to its lack of practicality. The DE is just too heavy and the drawback can only be taken with 2 hands, many have snapped their wrists shooting with one hand. Eitherway, have you tried the shooting range nearby? They have the DE there.

jadkar,

Your pics of the Auto Mag remind me of transformers

oh the magazine.. btw.. hows ur NSX going

?

I'm getting there with it - just got Yokohamas and Panther Plus to install on Thursday.

Hoping to get Bilsteins installed and some other minor stuff (thermostat, passenger speaker, window thingies) done in a few weeks.

Waiting for BadCarma to have a kit ready - the automatic needs a boost :)

Not to mention that theres only like 8 rounds on .44 or 7 rounds on.50. reminds me in most movies like replacement killer (bad guy got a black DE) as I remember.. the DE fired over 20 rounds in a row? I was like lol OMG..

I havent went to the shooting place nearby .. we should go sometimes together.. so far I have only tried on a Colt MkIV .45.

here is my favorite version of the DE family (.44 model with optional scope and rubber grip shown here )

the 10inch DE. I'm strongly influenced by the blown heads (zombies ofcourse) and the recoil emphasis on the game BioHazard 2 aka Resident evil2

since I cant get the real one so I bought both the Biohazard limited DEs original 8in (Bio1) and 10in with walnut case ( Bio2)
pretty cool items to have as a DE fan
