Nice pics. I see you own the white 300Z. Who's the owner of the maroon one? Please provide more pics.

Ah, Z32's, my first love. The interior looks an awful lot like the NSX!

very nice man!

Nice pics!

Very true Oyagi. There was a comparison of the too a long time ago in Sport Compact Car.

Both are beautiful cars, but take on their tasks in totally different ways. I loved my NA Z32 but its sheer weight was what made it a pig to drive at 9/10ths. Snap oversteer was present all the time! Still, from a design perspective, the new 350Z has nothing on the old 300ZX, which IMHO was almost perfect.

Incidentally it was a random encounter with a NSX in my old Z which made me start lusting after and eventually (after a few cars in the interim) acquiring mine.

It does look very familiar. What was your tt.net username?
My old name on it was "JohnnyZ", and I think I am like member #25 or something. Anyways, I was there back in the days when it was TT.com and then the big changeover happened. Still neat to go back there and see they still use the same old format for the forums. Ah the memories...

I was there for the changeover too. Mine SN was P Rock(Cleveland). I logged in there the other day and it's still the same ol' people plus a bunch of new people. They're a very tough crowd over there. If you do anything to your Z's body that didn't look stock, they jumped all over you for it.

Nice group, at least the NSX is in front....Respect!!...

amazing. perfect.

Both are very nice cars and we are happy with them (which is all that really matters ).

A couple more pics without the Z32's...

Charles and I at a local domestic car show. Look how big that Mustang is next to the NSX's!

Here's my engine bay with Type-R cover purchased during our last trip to Tokyo.

Definitely remember your nice Z (I wanted those Racing Harts so bad...), I went under "TTony" on twinturbo.net and before that on twinturbo.com (and even on the old AOL message boards before that!). I also use that name occasionally here (depending on where I'm at work...). Lots of Z32 guys here on Prime!

Car looks amazing on the volks. Are they 17/18?

I love this thread because until you really see it compared with other cars you cant understand just how LOW the car is. Great post.

Thanks for the compliments, they are much appreciated. The Volks are 17/18 and IMO are the best compromise between looks and performance. The wheels weigh what the stock 15/16 combination weighs (the larger tires weigh a couple pounds more though). I posted a thread about the wheels HERE.
