I got myself a copy of <B>Need for Speed : Underground</B>. Great game.

Being able to rice up a CIVIC so it looks like the MYNSX is a definite highlight for me. :D Here's some pix...

Mod list includes:
* 17" bling-bling Rims
* Custom Carbon fibre hood
* Roof scoop
* Custom front & rear spoiler
* A HUGE wing! :D
* Bottle of NOS
* NOS Sticker (+20HP)
* Canon exhaust

I love how you can change from 16" to 17" rims and it doesn't effect handling whatsoever! Just like real life! ;)

The NeoCIVIC even made it onto the front cover of a car magazine.
She's no Samuari babe, but then again this game is no NSXprime. :D

These are screenshots from the PC version.
They are high quality because i have an FX-5900 so i can play with AA and AF turned on. Very nice.
The middle screenshot (with chick in front) is from the actual gameplay. The Menu seems to drop down to 800x600.
(yes, the FX-5900 cost me, but it's gotta last me two years now :D )
 
Dang Neo,

Those ARE some pretty cool shots from that sweet card of yours. Bummer for me that it's not GC or PS2 screenshots. :( I'll have to settle for less than stellar graphics.

Just for clarification:
AA = Anti-Aliasing ?
AF = ?????

Yup...
AA = Anti-aliasing (softens jagged edges)
AF = Anisotropic Filtering (sharpens textures over distances; useful if AA is turned on)
Both are beautiful eye-candy, but put a heavy load on the GPU.

Not wanting to start a flame war, but after playing with PC graphics I'd never go back to console games. (well, except maybe for GT4 :p )
 
It is MP, though i haven't tried it yet.

The graphics are amazing. I am running at 8x6 and it looks amazing. AA and AF to thank there.

I had to sell my Civic cause it just wasn't fast enough to win drag races. I have the Golf now and it is noticeably faster, but it doesn't do as well in the drifting contests.

I am at stage 2 turbo and pretty much all else stage 2.

I want a damn supra!
 
Multiplayer sux on PC -- MP is only available over the Internet. :( Useless for LAN parties.

I'm playing at 1024x768, 2xAA, 2xAF and it's VERY smooth: even when i crash. :rolleyes:
 
I second that on the Miata, havent found a car that can beat it. About 10 of my friends have the game and they all agree the Miata is the car of choice.

"Elaborare" is a famous tuning magazine in Italy!!! :eek:
 
fun game so far, except that you have to do certain mods to get the respect meter pumpin'. No way in real life would i ever put a roof scoop on my car! The carbon fibre bonnets looks nice and its unpainted! :eek: The nitro feels a little half arsed too, and the acting, corn!. Looks good on the xbox, surround sound rocks just like the fast and the superflous movies.

Making me...want...to..attach...vinyl...to...nsx......
