Formerly an arcade style game, Namco's Ridge Racer series now leans toward a Gran Turismo simulation style of racing and includes licensed vehicles. (Yeah, no more made up, generically style autos.)
With the change in racing style comes a title change to R: Racing Evolution.
The game has already gone gold and is expected to be released around Dec. 9.
It is also coming out for XBox and GameCube.
