What next mod for my '92 NSX ? Except the driver or motor because I don't want to make an endless quest of power.
So far I have :
- bolted steel roll cage
- weight saving : headlights, bumper beams, wipers, clima, blower, ventilation, all plastics and carpets, airbags, steering wheel,...
- Sparco Corsa buckets
- Oreca steering wheel with SoS hub
- home made polycarbonate side windows
- home made polycarbonate dividing window
- FN01R-C 5 Zigen Wheels, 17 x 8 ET40 front, 17 x 9 ET45 (-15mm spacers)
- Tein Flex coilovers
- front camber bushings
- front non-compliance clamps
- rear non-compliance toe links and beam bushings
- Dali track sways
- Type R chassis bars
- brake pads (Carbotech XP10/XP8)
- brake lines
- brake air deflectors
- Type R rear wing
- Shine GT lip
- 230/610/17, 260/640/17 A005 slick tires
- home made front undertray
1) Big Brake Kit
I never felt that I had not enough braking power with the "stock" brakes, nor fading. Perhaps I can gain on high speed brakings with the BBK. But not that easy to use the full potential.
2) KW Clubsport
Tein Flex are not the best for sure and there is a gain here. But the cars feels good and not scary/hazardous at all.
3) Taitec JGTC rear diffuser
Love it for the look but I also think there is a gain here. But is it easy to use this potential gain ?
4) OS Giken with 4.62:1 final drive
As I said, the car feels good. I can hammer gas at the end of the turn and have no scary oversteer. The tires slip but the car go straight. Will it be even better with the OS Giken ? What should I go for ? 1-, 2- or 1.5-way ?
Now what interests me is the 4.62:1 final drive. I see no track around here where I will go over 160 mph. I could go with the 4.23:1 on the stock diff but except changing gears more often, I do not think it will really change something. Between the 4.44 and the 4.62 on the OS Giken, I think the 4.62 gives me far enough top speed.
OS Giken ? BBK ? KW ? Diffuser ?
