Hello,

Newby here - I checked out a '92 NSX over the weekend, Wow what a beauty. I went over the maintenance doc's and found that around 50K, there was a listing for "replaced transmission case." My question is, does this mean the snap ring issue got fixed.

Also, does anyone know a good NSX mechanic near El Dorado Hills (north of Sacramento) - that can do maint and also evaluate if this particular NSX is good to go.

Hey,
You should have Shad at Driving Ambition do it, They are in Gold River, Sac area. He the best around here and can do a compression and leak down test for you also...I highly recommend to do so so you can really know if its healthy motor or not.

Yes, if it said replaced transmission case, that means the snap ring issue was fixed.
