So I was looking under my car last night ('93) when I started wondering, with rocker panels that come lower to ground (basically all aftermarket rocker panels and the '02+ OEM ones), how does one get jack the car up on the jacking points without having the rocker panels get in the way?

What I usually do is use the OEM jack on the rear jack point to give me enough clearance to put a floor jack in the middle like the pic below. Another option is to drive up on boards to gain additional clearance.

More info on jacking up the car is located here.

Thanks. So, even with a floor jack, the thicker rocker panels don't get in the way such that the jack pushes up on it?

Sorry for the simplistic questions. The NSX will be my first endeavour into ground effects. :D

Another option is to use a floor jack with a low enough lift height that you can slide it under the center jacking point without worrying about a pre-jack jack. :D
