Hey peeps. First ever post. Probably been answered a bunch, but any year to stay away from? I was told by a local shop to definitely go 2019 or newer. What is you feel on that ? Thank you for any help

The differences between model years are, for the vast majority of drivers, insignificant. They did do some improvements in the 2019-2021 models, but I wouldn't call the 2017-2018 to be avoided. The 2022's have the biggest aesthetic changes, which are very much in the eye of the beholder to judge.

Thanks brother. Appreciate the response

To add specifics to what DJ mentioned. The following changes were Tires (newer spec version), front and back sway bars (you can purchase and attach to your 2017-2018 NC1, and then a minor adjustment to the auto adjusting suspension (you can purchase the electronic module for the later cars and substitute for the one in the 2017 and 2018 NC1. As far as I know those were the significant changes that occurred. So how much would it cost? As for tires, most everyone prefers the Mich 4S tires. The module is around $300 and the sway bars and clamps are probably under $1000. People like yourself who may not be familiar with the car and the differences will most likely pay $3000 to $5000 for a later car, and end up with a less optioned car. Many if the early 2017s were loaded by the dealers vs the later cars that were either ordered or were less optioned to lower the price. These cars are pretty solid and it should be more about color, options, condition, and the proper maintenance afforded the car.

Really appreciate that bud. That’s what I was really wanting to hear. I will do plenty of modding. so I’m definitely thinking of an older one and
Save some coin on the initial purchase
