No clue but if anyone knows anything Id be interested to check it out. I drove from Southern California to Key West, Florida and it sure didnt take 32 hours lol. (Must have been because I didnt take the NSX....was too cheap to spring for gas so I took the econo car)

In the late 80's I drove from Austin TX to Tucson AZ in just over 11 hours in a 1985 civic wagon. I stopped for gas three time and for the police two times.
In New Mexico I was ticketed for 102 mph and in Arizona I was ticketed for 98 MPH just 15 minutes after the first ticket.

I have done the trip from here to KW Florida several times in under 20 hours.

These guy's have not finished the film yet, they are looking for investors so they can finish editing it. The trailer was made just for the investors.

I would love to see that finished movie. I once drove from St George, UT to Salt Lake City, UT in 2 hours 50 minutes. It's a 303 mile straight drive that usually takes nearly 5 hours. I never got stopped, luckily. But I did take a picture of my speedometer pegged at 143mph. This was in my Prelude. I can't believe I did this. I'd never do it again. Ahhh to be young and stupid again.

I drove from So Cal to Pensacola, Florida in 36 hrs, went back to Cali and then drove to N.Carolina in about 42 hrs or so and back again to Cali. This was back in 2000 in a '89 CRX sohc vtec.

Except for the trip from Florida to California, I did all the driving solo.

Here is one of my many 'low flying recon missions', as I like to call them. ;) :D

Trip: West Palm Beach, Florida to Fort Wayne, Indiana

Distance: 1,350 miles

Time: 14 hours 36 minutes

That time INCLUDES all gas stops and food stops....including one at a McDonalds where they gave my brother a spoon for his salad and not a fork, so we had to go inside and wait to get a fork, then get back on the road. :D

Camp Lejeune, NC to Flower Mound, TX
1278.37 miles
Total Est. Time: 21 hours, 16 minutes

Actual driving time: 15 hours in my 97 Firebird

Did a little better from Camp Lejeune to where I am now
420.39 miles
Total Est. Time: 7 hours, 48 minutes

Actualy driving time: 2 hours and 45 minutes, 1 stop for gas
Averaged around 140mph thru entire drive up 95N.
On 295 around Richmond (44 miles), did that in 21 minutes.
4 car driving party

Dude you've got balls to tear through Richmond that way. Congrads.

this book is a recount of all the cannonball races, written by the guy who started it all! A fantastic read. link

Yes, that is a very good book. I have an autographed copy and loved reading it. Plus, once you have entered one of these events you have a better appreciation for the story. :D

I bet with today's best cars it could be done in under 30...

prolly not....cuz today theres too much damn TRAFFIC!

I'm driving to Little Rock tomorrow morning, Mapquest says it should take 25 hrs to get there. We'll see how that goes. and its around 1700 miles. I'll be driving in a 2000 civic, so no 120+ mph for me.
