I just received these !
Volk GT-V's
18x7.5 front and 19x9.5 rear.
I am torn between what to do and can't decide which set to keep and which to sell.
What do you guys think?
I am leaning towards keeping the orginal(cosmetic slugs 19 and 20's)

both wheels look great
but i dont really like Chrome Rims on an NSX unless they are certain types so Id say keep the new ones
plus im pretty much in love with any wheel that Volk makes

Ugh, loooove Volk rims.....and the're lighter too. Unsprung weight=

Nice....where did you get them?

I bought them at Science of Speed. As far as un-sprung weight that isn't too much of a concern for me,the trick is just add more powerrrrr,LOL !
One thing for sure,if the Volks are not in stock it takes awhile to get them.
But I am leaning towards the 19 and 20's right now !

FWIW - I like the originals. Even though they are big they do not look obscene and with your car lowered as such think it looks great.

Stacy,

I like the Volks, but the wheels you have right now give your car a nice and unique look to it, particularly since they're 19s/20s. There's no mistaking your car for any other yellow NSXs.

Yes Randy I agree !!!
This is why I am leaning towards just selling the Volks.
I thought I was ready for the change, but I guess I really am not !!

Stace,

Don't make me run out there and buy those Volks from you foo!

Stacy, if you can afford to keep both I would suggest that.

At times, when I feel the need for change, I put on a different set and I am satisfied (definitely prevented me from spending money on other parts).

With upgraded brakes, I use the other sets when I get a flat (in lieu of a flatbed, fix-a-flat, etc.) or experience rim damage to help me reduce downtime.

Well, I went to my buddies tire shop today and saw a 285/25/20 and loved the profile!
It is a full inch lower than the 275/30/20.
So I decided to keep the original tires and wheels (19 and 20's) and going to sell the Volk GT-V's(18 and 19's).
Here is a pic of the 285/25/20.
