ekin - a 996 is a 911, just the latest model (before 996 it was 993). So, asking if it is a 911 or 996 is redundant. Perhaps you mean "is it a 911 Carrera or a 911TT?" If it is the latest version (1999+), it is a 996.
I do agree with you that something looks off about the car - maybe it's the front end, or maybe it's that the wheels don't look right.....either way, it looks weird. But it's still a 911 and a 996!

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I kinda knew they were the same but was not sure. It is definitely a newer 911 just by looking at the wing setup. But still an awesome car.
