Hi-

This is my first post here. I finally feel that by only acting partly irresponsible that I can finally buy an NSX.

So, questions:

1. What can I expect to buy for $35,000 to $55,000?

2. What model years are best to avoid?

3. Has anyone done business with Curry Acura in Whiteplains, NY? They had a couple of used NSX's the last time I checked?

4. Is a "certified used Acura" much of a benefit with these cars?

If this information is already available, then please just point me in the right direction.

Many thanks,

Packard

Start with the FAQ, then the Buy,Sell,Ship,Store section.

Also the General Info section. You'll want to learn about the year by year changes, etc. You'll probably want to explore most of the FAQ.

I don't know if it is consensus yet but it seems the pricing guide is a bit out of date and perhaps a bit higher than current market for 97+ models.

#2 - there is no model year to stay away from, the only thing to watch for in early models are trannys in snap ring range (see the faq). if it's already been repaired or not in snap ring range, you're fine. if it's in snap ring range and hasn't been repaired, it's still a decent car, just plan on spending a couple grand at some point to deal with it and price the sale accordingly.

given your price range though, you're likely looking at model years where this is a non-issue.

Curry does not have a lot of NSX business (experience), Greewich does, and so does our good friend at Bridgewater, aka THE KID, the certified will only be on the later model years and depending on your need for piece of mind and how much you're willing to pay for it. Best of luck in your search, take your time, read the FAQ's, be willing to go out of your geographic area-

First off welcome to the forum your off to a pretty good start.

Second I and many others I know will never ever do business with Curry Acura as far as sales go. You can PM me for more specifics.

Since your budget allows you to get into a later model I would get one that is as close to the color and model you like T vs coupe.
