I have been checking the "Golden Ears 1000" out also. I especially like the Diamond Audio M5 components. However, I do have a few issues:1. I cannot for the life of me figure out the difference between it and the "Golden Ears 999" except for the price.2. I'd like to get a feel for how decent the sound quality for the stock head unit is vs a Sony C90 or one of the new Alpin units (105dB S/N)Anyone with experience willing to explain a little? Mark
