New rear tires....

I just put 275/40/17s on my 2002 nsx...the nitto drag radials...has anyone had any experience with them? And what the hell is the deal with the front tires on the inside...thread is showing...is that normal with NSX's??? Please help what tires sould I put on the front.....STOCK wheels...
