I had the bottle and valve covers done at the same time, separate, it should cost around $100 I guess? I asked Dali Racing to do the job through their powdercoater. The attention to detail was fantastic (everything masked off very very well)

Looks great! That is really one of the best looking white NSXs I've seen overall.

Those little puddles of water on the lip where the engine cover sits really bug me. I always forget to wipe them and as a result it always looks dirty. I wish it was at an angle so water didn't pool up. Oh well, I guess that's a pretty petty gripe!

Thanks Lud... This one has been my favorite NSX so far, which is curious especially because it has twice the miles as any of my previous NSXes. I really miss the targa top though, even if it does contribute to a less rigid structure.

Do you notice any differences in handling between your car and let's say a 95/96 targa? I ask because I know the panel aluminum was strengthened, although I've heard conflicting reports whether this as an effect on strutural rigidity.

BTW... you guys may notice that the alternator is polished. I did this with a wire brush on a drill. Be careful though, I think metal shards in the alternator would be a bad thing. I did it while it was on the car, it may be wise to remove the alternator to get to the shell.

The '97+ cars are noticably stiffer than the '95-'96. There are changes other than just the panel alloy. Still no coupe though!

I did the valve covers on my NSX about a year ago and I think it is one of the best things you can do to dress up the engine. I also polished the alternator with a dremel tool, which eliminates the shards you get with the wire brush. I pulled it off the car to do it, but I think you could do it on the car if you didn't mind missing the few hard to reach spots. It takes a couple of hours to polish the entire thing.
