whats with the wheels on the new honda?

I know. I know. Just got the Element, I'm planning to put some 19 or maybe 20 on that baby. Got any suggestion?

I knew someone's gonna mention that, IGNORE the wheels for now!

Do these Volk racing wheels come with a small center cap? Looks real nice other than the small rusty portion of the hub that shows through.

Also, aren't the slots on the brakes supposed to be rotating the other way? I got new RM slotted rotors and installing them per instructions, the slots are fanning away from the hub as it turns. I've seen them both ways on the street and in racing application. Noticed that Peter Cunningham's GT NSX has them installed as pictured here in this thread. My take is that it probably doesn't make a difference. I would think brake dust would fan out and away from the hub and not back into it. ICBW though. Did AP Racing's instructions note to have them installed this way? Just curious to know.

The brakes are installed the same way as displayed on the SOS site

I thought you were getting bronze Advan 5's - was that for the black one? No sign of those yet?

Nice picts.

What makes the distiction of which way the disc should be mounted is the ventilation vanes between the disc surfaces.

On the RM discs, which are Powerslot rotors, they are not directional. The vanes radiate at a straight angle. With the ScienceofSpeed kit, we use race-quality discs that have directional vanes. The directional vanes increase cooling efficiency dramaticly.

It's a Kenwood, I like the touch screen function and I was told that Kenwood's the only one with touch screen, pretty neat!

Does it happen to be the KVT-911DVD model because after looking at the specs, my jaw hit the desk. AznSXgirl, you have better taste in cars/electronics than most guys!
