We just put on a Cantrell Concepts NSX-R spoiler on the car and took some pictures of the results. This is only a temporary move for a few weeks as we're essentially just borrowing the spoiler. I don't think I like it on the car as much as our GruppeM spoiler because it looks too small to me in relation to the rest of the widebody components. What does everyone else think?

Don't mind the dirt and bugs.

It looks absolutely GREAT!!! Keep it and sell me your GruppeM wing. :D

Seriously though, I'd agree with you. The NSX-R wing, while cool looking, just doesn't keep up with the aggressive stance of the widebody.

Hmmm, but then again, if you were to go with a black roof......

I agree: Your original wing fit the bada$$-ness of the AZ-JGTC-NSX. FurryDUDE's black roof looks good... Maybe take it one step further and paint the ends of the wing white - leaving the horizontal plane exposed CF. It kind of flows with the CF trim on the rear fenders (at least to me): :)

the spoiler looks great. i might be biased... i first ran an oversized GT style wing on my previous widebody setup... and then opted to go with the Procar's NSX-R wing to give it a more subtle look. maybe it might be from kit to kit... but i thought the downforce kit with nsx-r wing looked great...

being that i've seen this car with the larger GT wing... i gotta say it did look sweet.... basically you CAN'T go wrong either way....

LOL....yeah, good luck getting our GruppeM.

Interesting photoshop with the black roof though. Looking at that makes me glad that we painted the roof to go with our widebody.

I like it much better but then again, Im a little biased:biggrin: I love my Downforce CF wing! Id leave it just like that.

Im trying to decide which spoiler to go with myself, i have the full cantrell gt series kit. what does the gruppe m spoiler look like?

Love the nose! I like the black highlights, I personally would paint the scoop area on the hood black also. And yes, the wing looks fine.

I think the R spoiler looks better on the GT than the JGTC, like on Ron's Grigio NSX for example. However, the GruppeM would look great on the GT too. I have quite a few pics of the GruppeM on the computer here, but you can search for more of them on here or checking at SOS's website. We bought the one off of Chris' car so pretty much any of them that you see of his car is the GruppeM. I'm not sure that that spoiler is available anymore, but you should definitely check with him because he might have more info or know of something else in the works.

No matter which spoiler you get I'm sure it will look great on your car!

Thanks. All of the black is Carbon Fiber actually, so we couldn't really just paint the hood because I don't think it would match all that well. The hood is actually carbon fiber too, but was purchased already painted. The whole body in fact is Carbon Fiber, but only the strips on the rear quarter panels are left exposed.

It's funny that to me the R spoiler looks better in the pictures than it does in person. For some reason in person it doesn't seem as proportional to the body as the GruppeM spoiler does.

I like your old rims way better. I know the 18"s have better performance but those rims (Type-C) make your car look like ahhh I'll be nice... crap. I have a set for race for my NSX also but it makes my car look horrible. Put the TE37s back on! You have alot of nice stuff on your car. Complete it. On another note. Ordered lots of parts from guys. Great service!

You're thinking of Chris@SOS it sounds like. About a year and a half ago we bought most of his parts because he is changing up his car and hopefully soon will have his new bodywork completed. He had already sold his old TE37s and had these SSR Comp-Hs which we got for a price that we couldn't pass up. I personally really like the Comp-H and don't think they look like crap (and are good track wheels like you said), but not nearly as much as the TE37. If you saw this thread: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71231 you'd see that we are getting the TE37s to put on the car since the Comp-H's are bent. I think the car will GREAT with the new wheels once they arrive, which will be awhile.

I have the same W- body setup as you from SOS (CC) but Procar spoiler. I think it looks great on the kit. You just got used to the larger rear wing (GruppeM) and now Type-R looks like a stock nsx spoiler.
I also think that the color of your car (white) makes a big difference how anything looks or fits on you car vs. a black or darker color.

Keep them both, for different occasions.
