Hey all,
Ive been lurking on this site for years now, the NSX has been my favorite car for as long as I can remember. This summer I finally achieved my dream, a 1995 Black on black NSX-T! The car is everything I had dreamed it would be and more, seriously its awsome!
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself now that I have finally registered. My car is stored for the winter already so I guess Ill have to wait til spring time to meet some of you at gtgs/cruises. I have some plans for this car, starting with some asthetic work and then possibly performance mods. I look forward to availing myself to local resources (dealers, private sellers and info)this site will help me find.

So... yeah Hi!!
Marc

Any pics?

And theres no need tp hibernate. Depending upon where you are, the NSX Club of Canada may be having monthly events close to you!

Dont be a stranger.

Congrats on you new car

What part of Canada do u reside in?
I was driving my car last night, nov 19th who would of figured. Also, we had a NSX meet Sunday the 18th with 4 NSX's ,a couple S2000's and a Viper, so late in the season. No 1 wants to sleep yet.
Calgary is snowing a (little) as I speak but supposed to be +4 by thursday, as long as no gravel is laid, its showtime.

I live in Toronto. I was supposed to be going away for 3 weeks so I decided that by Nov. 28th (my return date) there would probably have been some snow and the roads would have been salted. I took off the insurance, put the car in storage and that was that. The travel plans fell through and I officially got the shaft for the last few weeks of driving weather!

Welcome to the club! Its a great friendly club and everyone made me feel welcomed when i joined 2 months ago. Upload some pix of your car so we can all ooooohh and ahhhhh over it:biggrin:

I live in Toronto.

It is your lucky day.

Join the NSX Club of Canada and keep the NSX action going all winter long!

Im still driving my supercharged 02 daily BTW - will stop taking it to work in Dec, but will still drive it occasionally next month too.

Dont put your car away so early!

Dave,
have fun driving your car to work tomorrow

Left it at home this AM, although I gotta say since I have the GY GS-D3s on, and not slick R compounds, I debated whether or not freezing rain (with accumulation) was dooable!

Welcome Marc,

Please look at the top of the forum for the "NSX Club of Canada news" thread - there is the info and form there for you to fill out and sign up as an official member of the NSX Club of Canada.

The season is definitely not over - maybe driving your NSX is over, but meets and talking cars, mods, watching car movies (you haven't lived until you've seen 6.5 mins in Paris in Jim's theater!!!) and socializing is still on!

Dave:

You should have gone for it!

You'd probably achieve higher speeds in the traffic along Queen in the snow/hail than you get in the back straight @ Mosport! for you - exhilarating!

ya it would have been pure sliding down Queen haha

I've seen Dave drive his NSX with Rs on it in a blizzard. No one can accuse him of being a wimp. Daria and I drove rentals to the track that day.

He'd be safer flying in his new Phantom than driving an NSX in the snow. Don't do it. You may be in control, but others certainly aren't.

hi, hello, congrats and all that stuff, post some pics!! :)
if u fare ever coming thru Kamloops let me know. i always like checkin out everyone else's nsx...lol

Congrats! Looking forward to meeting you and your car in the spring. BTW, I'm assuming the SickSRV refers to Prelude SRV? Heavily modded? Any pics?

Dave: I've been daily driving my NSX too, but I think the good driving days may be over. I'm debating whether to keep the insurance on, but long range weather looks like it's just going to keep getting colder and wetter. Blah.

Here are the only pics I have of my car....
Taken earlier this year, with my Moto Q. (I know the quality is low, but its what I got!)
Stock for now....

... and this is my first car, 1995 Prelude SRV. blk on blk leather, heavily modded but still kept it clean. Wings west 4ps lip, really low dropped on tein coilovers, greddy ehaust, JDM headlight and fogs, shaved emblems, antenna, spoiler. It was the coolest (especially in high school) I hate that I had to sell it but thats the way it goes, on to bigger n better things I guess

(i have no idea why this wont load as a thumbnail like the others, i followed the same steps!)

Welcome, and glad you got my PM.

Always good to meet another relatively) local owner. Car looks great. I always am debating whether I should have gotten a targa or not. Oh well.

You cannot be a member of Prime and not feel the mod bug (especially with your history)...so I'm looking forward to the evolution of your ride. You also cannot be here with out becoming a member of the NSXCC. Check out the subforum for details.

Hope you take her out to a track day next spring. I'm booked for Hansons!
