New owner!

Just wanted to say hi to fellow members and looking foward to seeing any local NSXes in the area. Its a 91 silver nsx from florida a little over 65k mi, out of snap ring range...single owner, no accidents, and all service up to date from the dealer. I put the car away already but once the salt and stones are off the roads I'll take her out. This will be my 2nd NSX... the first berlina black was from years ago was totaled when a SUV made an improper turn into my right of way. I needed change... and silver was hard to come by.

I got my PA plates on it a while ago but just haven't had the time to get any new pictures. Here it is in sunny Florida.

Looks like a winner to me - congrats!

Welcome! great looking car! great to have another NSX in the area. I have lived in Bethesda, Maryland since 1962 and remember seeing only one white NSX about 5 years ago and one silver one inside a dealer showroom. hope to see yours. are you in DC or Philly or both? I make it up to Merion when the weather gets good. At least you're smart enough to get your pictures on the PRIME site. I still haven't gotten my on yet.

Lower merion, as in bala cynwyd? I'm in the area a lot but work down in Chantilly, VA. In Reston you could run by an NSX weekly when its warm. There are a lot of owners in Northern VA. I've seen a white one with a lot of decals at Walmart in Fairlakes, a yellow 02+ model on I-66 going East from Gainesville. And a dark blue one that drives by my brothers home in Herdon frequently... those are all the once I've seen in the past two months.

Looking forward to seeing you guys in the spring; just a bunch of NSX Wannabe's aka Ferrari's running around in my neighborhood. Merion Golf course, (one of my favorites), in Ardmore.

We usually have about 5 NSX meets a year.

Let's not forget about the Mega Meet in NJ:biggrin: 70 NSX's screaming around, like a mini-NSXPO:eek:

Welcome, I got my NSX last year (Silver 97-T) I'm in the Wayne area, so good to know of others close by.

btw I'd treat Ardmore Acura with caution - they scratched my car when they did a small job. At the moment I'm trying out Davis Acura in langhorne, who others on Prime clued me onto. They have treated me well so far - I pick up the car in a few days so we shall see if the workmanship is good as well, but I am confident it will be.

good to have a new nsx in the philly area. (i'm not an owner, but a true nsx fan). hope to see the car flying around i76/i95.

I'll be near Ephrata... in Lancaster to be exact. My parents live there.

When I took my black 91 to get the snap ring repaired to ardmore acura they had no clue what I was talking about and told me I needed a new transmission. Had no problems at Davis Acura except when they did my snap ring repair they pre-quoted me and when I came back they decided to inflate the price by 100%..... I was pissed but it got resolved after a fight.

I'm in philly / Bucks county and I have a few local Nsx's outside my restaurant pretty often. Even my door guy - Jerry has a yellow 02 NSX. Maybe it was his you may have seen.

My friend Greg who is not on prime has the same color combo as you.
Our group consits of about 8 NSX's around the philly area that are NOT on prime plus a few than frequent on here. there all awsome people

Ill PM you with contact info.

About 3 of us actally get toghether every other week or so and on the first sunday of every month in the summer we meet up for a drive through new hope and then come back for lunch at my place.

You also might want to come when our exotic car group goes to pocono raceway and Summit point for track days about 3-4 times a year. All Porches, Lambo's Ferrari's & NSX's plus a couple lotus's, mostly modified. You could say we are definatly not "purist type" owners.

Congratulations on finding a clean car with reasonable mileage that looks so nice! Any mods in mind?

Not likely to run into each other, as I'm in the SF Bay area- Silver and red were my first color choices, but often the overall value proposition of the car overides the color.

Enjoy your new ride when spring finally rolls around- it will probably seem like a long wait to you!

~Jon

hhoang3 congrats, on the car. Did you drive his new Aston Martin, I was going to buy his car but found a red one that i fell in love with:tongue:
