New Owner: From Canada to PA!

Hi everyone!

I've been a lurker on this site for a while checking in on the FS section and finally just made the plunge and got an NSX!

It's an awesomely clean 1992 pearl white/black low mileage beauty from Philippe in Canada. I flew up from PA to Ottawa and drove it all the way back. Importing it was a rather smooth process and driving it back 8hrs was a blast! Getting tons of looks obviously. One driver in an FRS gave me a thumbs up, another in Jeep in front of me I think got distracted looking back and drove into a curb...

I know it was hard to let go but thanks Philippe!

If anyone ever has any questions about importing an NSX from Canada to the US, I'm your guy to ask.

The car is loooooowwwwww, and I will need to raise it a bit. Also looking for some other small mods:
- new pedals
- new OEM front emblem
- AUX/iPhone connection
- Keyless entry
- LED lighting
- cupholder
Any suggestions?

Beautiful car, beautiful color.

See what happens when you lurk too long ... you end up an owner! As far as interior mods go, how are the seats? Is the leather in good condition? There are some great sport seats available or just a recovering of your OEM's with fresh leather.

Welcome BETRNSX! You're gonna love it. I'm a fairly new owner myself, got mine in April, and it's the most awesome feeling, driving one of these.

Cool another owner in Philadelphia

I'm not far outside of Philly, in Chadds Ford, about 40 minutes or so from center city, we should try to meet up sometime. Chester County has some awesome roads.

Thanks everyone! I'm def down for a meet up. My GF works out in Chadds Ford actually so I know that area.

I think I got a pretty good deal. Car and seats are in great condition. I'm getting coilovers and other small mods for now to refresh it.

Cool. There are a few owners down in MD that may be close enough to join us, esp. since the drive I'm thinking about goes down into MD for a ways. I'll start a thread in the Northeast Region forum so we don't jack this one with talk of a Northeast-Southern contingent meet up. Look for it there in a day or two, I'm crazy swamped with work and RL issues ATM.

Congrats Jeff! I can definitely share in the experience of driving such an awesome car cross-country. She looks beautiful! I noticed it's a 92 but the top is white (wasn't OEM black?). Did the previous owner have it painted or is it wrapped? Can't tell from the pics.

It is a '92 (and top is OEM black) but mine is painted aftermarket pearl white with a subtle pink hue that's really cool.
