Vegas....Baby!
I made a NSX video in the fall of 2004. It was a nice day in Madison county Iowa, (Bridges.) I used an old Sony analog video camera and Roxio Videowave software. It contains some nice footage of Iowa in the fall and has a good ending.

Using Google video service degraded the analog video footage & sound a little more. It was the first production movie I have made. I have since upgraded to a digital camcorder and 4 software programs later, I think I have the hang of it.

Again, excuse the analog video and a reference to the NSX as "ExperaMetal."
It is about 13 minutes long and has music, special effects, etc. Looking back it is clear this is a first time attempt, but entertaining.

Great video, I liked the parts that were just hard driving, two things I would have done differently are the transitions (you don't have to use them all, and the simpler the better in my opinion) and the music.

Nice first attempt -

- you might want to spell-check your intro! <!--StartFragment -->

Yeah, 1st time editing you want to use all the features. I have made many more films and have "graduated" to more sophisticated software. Don't use any Pinnacle studios software. It can't render w/o crashing. Use Adobe products or for simple editing and crash-proof use Cyberlink Powerdirector.

Thanks for sharing your great video! I liked the sound, especially the exhaust and the credits; or should I say the non-credit to microsoft. Unlike others, I enjoyed your matching of the music with the video. I could feel the emotion of the driving experience not only by the video, but also with the songs you chose.

Thanks for the nice words.

FUN!
Great work; it must have taken some time and effort to create. I am looking forward to seeing any of your mentioned new creations; as long as they feature an NSX or 2.
Thanks for sharing it,
Bob

Very cool:cool:, please bring on more. Nice work. I'm glad to own a piece of this experimetal technology:wink: !!!

thanks for sharing that skyguy. very cool.

btw - what mod's have you done to your NSX? It sounds awesome in that video!

Great video. Did you edit out the part where the cops pulled you over?

Just kidding, good work. Would like to see your new digital ones.

Just Comptech exhaust. I think the camera pickup distorts it and makes it sound cooler than it is. Thanks for the nice comments.

LOL!
Here in Iowa the cops seems to be elswhere when I'm out driving. I always obey the laws of physics.

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing, Sarah Brightman is awesome, and it was cool of keN SaX to drive down to be in the shoot.

Considering all the very fantastic responses concerning this video I have decided to make a new & improved version of the NSX video. It will take some time but I think it will be worth it. I have the digital equipment and software, (Adobe Premiere Pro & Mini DV camcorder) and am looking forward to this project. I'll try and include other NSX's on drives, etc.

With that said, it sould be released this summer.

Thanks again for all overwhelming responses.

That was cool! The car is so sexy, I'm going to have to give the video at least a PG-13 rating! lol Good job!

the grammar is incorrect

"Quote from a early NSX commercial"

should be an early NSX commercial =P

*See post #5 "*Caught many spelling errors after rendered & burned..."

Skyguy...great job! I am glad you took the time to shoot the video and share it with us. The scenery and the music matched up nicely, plus the NSX exhaust note is a nice touch.

Me too...Whenever I drive, I always obey the law!.......of physics:biggrin:

I gotta love.

You put my all time favorite song "Once In A Lifetime" by Gregorian. I paid $100 for that CD single. The man behind Gregorian is Frank Peterson. He was the keyboarder for Sandra (she is married to Michael Cretu - who is the brain behind Enigma). Frank also worked with Sarah Brightman on several albums that became a huge hit.

By the way, I just finished your video and you gave credit to Sarah Brightman. It should be Gregorian. Sarah Brightman did the same song, but your video version is not from Sarah Brightman. Anyway, they're both from the same producer Frank Peterson.

For those who are interested in that song, you can either find the CD single on Ebay or purchase the CD album from Gregorian "Sadisfaction". It has another song called "So Sad", and highly recommend if you like Enigma type of music. As for Sarah Brightman version, "once in a lifetime" I believe only appeared in her "Fly 2" CD album which can only be purchased at her concert. Of course, you can find a copy on Ebay. Also, you might be able to find it in some compilation CD out there - good chances of finding bootleg CD that includes the original Gregorian version but mistakenly put Sarah Brightman on it.

Thanks for the correction.
I downloaded the song and it was labeled a Sarah Brightman song. Dunno why? Good song anyway!
Also, as it was as stated it was my first video and I did not take the time to check for spelling and song credits. Big mistakes in the video/film world!

Thanx!

I think the exhaust was distorted/amplified because the camera mount was between the seats and the mic pickup allowed more engine compartment noise as well.

I really wish I had my digital camera to shoot the film. The analog exposure is not justice for the fall colors in Madison county.

Thank you for the nice words.

I'm spending a lot of time working with video/audio file manipulation now. Learning a whole new set of acronyms!

I hope to have a new and improved version out by sometime this summer.
