New NSX R Wing Being Made

One of the companies I work with is close to making the NSX Type R wing (the new one) for the rest of us here who don't have 2003 Type Rs.

I know that if I had a white NSX, I would probably get one. Anyone else find this product interesting at all?

I told a gentleman at that compny that the new rear and side skirt would also be interesting to me. Everything is made in urethane.

Hell, how about a whole 2003 conversion kit.

I didn't like the new NSX until I saw on lowered with wheels.

Are you referring to the wing or all the other stuff I mentioned.

I'm sure the price will be reasonable.

I don't necessarily like the look of the wing but I'm sure the Type R wing is actually functional.

JChoice is mentioning that a company is making a copy of the "real" NSX-R rear wing out of urethane. The real Carbon Fiber rear wing is around $6000+. It is constructed out of 3 main subsections and utilizes a unique hollow form design. There are several companies here and in Japan that are working on "copies" of the various Type-R pieces. The factory NSX-R carbon hood is a little over $9000.

So for JUST 15k I can have myself an NSX type R look.

The "copies" are not readily available currently. I'm pretty sure when they are available, the companies will have pubic announcements and vendors here on NSXprime will be selling/posting information on them. The usual suspects in Japan are working on the "copies", I believe Taitec is one of them.
