New NSX r/c body in 1/10 scale

HPI recently release information on their newest body for 1/10 scale r/c cars. Earlier this year, they had come out with a 1/18 scale version of the 2002/2003 NSX GT for their MicroRS4 chassis. Now, they've decided to also come out with a larger 200mm wide version.

One thing that they've done that I like is to make the snorkel style intake an optional piece. It is not molded into the lexan.

Pleeeeeeeeease don't tell me ebay's the only option, I'm really tired in tracking auction end times. Also, I won't be leaving the US for quite sometime, flying over to Asia to purchase one isn't possible.

A lot of hobby shops carry HPI bodies and parts.

As far as I know, the body isn't out yet. Usually, HPI introduces their new bodies on the site, and then product starts showing up in stores within about a month or two.

I'm pretty sure you won't need to resort to eBay, or going to Asia. HPI stuff is pretty common. If you've got access to a local hobby shop near you, check to see if they carry HPI stuff. I imagine the price for it will be slightly less than the $25 MSRP, which is less than Tamiya bodies.

I just bought the HPI Nitro RS4 3 SS RSX yesterday. I wanted the NSX body but was told it was only available in the 1/18 size body.

These nitro kits are pretty damn complicated. I spent 4 hours yesterday and I figure it'll take another 8 hours to put together but it should be worth it once it's running.

That'll give you time to beat the crap out of the RSX body. Then, in a month or so, you can get the NSX body and and extra set of wheels for a nice display setup.
