Hey all,

Just posting a few pics of a '91 I just purchased in Kelowna. The car is in very good shape (new paint/thousands in recent work done/new tires and all receipts dating back to original owner). I got it for $32,000 ...it needs only a new clutch. Car was fast, tight and quiet in the test drive and was everything I thought it would be. In the pics I can be seen checking the height of the car to ensure my driveway will have adequate clearance. The car is only 4 inches from ground to "oh shit I just bottomed-out again!"

Glad to be a owner-member of this forum now!!!

Cheers,
Aaron

way to go! i stopped in kamloops last july when I picked up mine from edmonton. I also had to get a new clutch- go for the rps with the lighter flywheel it really takes off !

Great car, nice deal!

Try the RPS in someone's car BEFORE you buy one and put it in. It is sooooo heavy I wouldn't want to drive it in Toronto traffic (I'd rather replace factory clutches more often!)

For what a clutch costs vs. the labour for the change, you should be sure you've got what you like.

Check out SOS, they have some new stuff

Congrats Aaron! That was the one you were looking at when I saw you at Christmas, right? Looks excellent, and the best color too

Hi Sean,

Yes it was the one I caught by accident in a local version of an auto trader-type magazine back in the fall. The owner had two other interested parties but since I was talking to him first i got the first shot at it and decided to pursue it after seeing it in person. The new paint is a bonus and the interior is really nice. The compression tests show the engine is still strong. I plan to keep it at least a year or two and then sell it for a 96 or newer. I really would like a 6 speed, targa top version of the NSX. I have to make changes to my driveway in order to get the car to fit without scraping the undercarriage. :(

I may be in Victoria in a few weeks to visit relatives, i'll stay in touch and let you know when i'm in town.

Aaron
