Don't get too close to Dave, you'll end up spending all your $$$ on Mods.

Welcome aboard! Consider coming to the track day on the 15th (see other thread)

Stu planned on keeping his car stock too. He did awesome in doing so for about 12 months. Now, 'ogetaboutit.

Yeah, and now my wife is suing Dave for child support since I used up all our $$$ on mods:frown:

And youve just started.

Wanna drive my car again?

No CTSC for me! I'm gonna spend that much and more $$$ on my race car engine this winter:frown:

I guess i should introduce myself too :)

And now there're TWO of them!

Welcome Roy!

Both you guys have to give either Stu (Red), Sean (swbatte), Arshad (arshad), Nathan (red_dragon) or myself your contact info so that we can add you to our NSX Club of Ontario.

It is kind of like Aeroplan, but with better rewards!

You should come out to our track day on the Sept 15th!

Also, it sounds like I should be planning another dinner...Yacht Club again? How about a Sunday evening?

You're kidding, right? The NSX is an increadible track car!
Dave takes his out all the time, as did Daria and I before we bought full race cars. There is a huge list of NSXrs who track and it is an important part of all NSXPOs.

Try this event on the DDT, very safe track and easy on the car and comes with excellent instruction - its a great venue to try it out!

I know.... what i ment was that I'm not that confident with myself to track the car coz I'm not use to a rear wheel drive

Roy - the DDT is a great track to figure out the NSX. Its a very slow, twisty track with only one wall. And you've got to go out of your way to find it (sorry Joel, ;) )

If you want to figure out how to drive it, there is no better venue than the DDT.

Roy - Don't be afraid, just go into the beginner group and learn from scratch - Its smart to be safe.

Besides, there are very few differences in vehicle dynamics for front or rear wheel drive, the only significant difference is that its harder to spin a FWD by putting the power down when you don't have tons of grip - you just slide the whole car:wink: (either way you're being a goof)

You'll be safe if you have a safe attitude - even driving an ENZO!

Thanks for the encouragement.... but i really can't take a day off friday ... project deadlines but I'll go ahywhere for a criuse or anything as long as it's within 2-3hrs drive hahhah and given that it's on the weekend...

Hey I love putting the power down in tight corners in my modded GSR! Since I've got the suspension dialed in neutral, it slides the whole car out sideways too! Lots o-fun, well actually kinda scarry sometimes!

Gees, guys, I've been reading along for the better half of the year too, and I gotta say, you guys have a lot better comradership (spelling?) on Canada prime, then other car clubs! I love that.

Especially that TRON guy!

Can't wait till the NSX comes some day as I'm still saving up. Maybe not so soon now that I'm gonna be a Dad soon. Sigh (NSX) - err I mean (DAD);)

The NSX just plain ROCKS!

I saw a slightly modded out silver 1st gen NSX around Yonge and 16th last night. Anyone here?

hey BB43 I saw ur car at c-club yesterday... what kind of rims did u have? i didn't take a closer look at it... dam after seeing your car now i want to lower mine...hahha

did you put an LSD in? I had a GSR, which I loved, but autocrossing it was painful in tight corners under power because of the wicked inside wheelspin. Smoke everywhere!

Thats one area where the TYPE Rs had a huge advantage.

Dave always drives like he's put some LSD into his system:rolleyes: I just wish he wouldn't encourage the kids to do the same!
