Hi all, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.

I love nsx's and have followed this forum for a while. It sounds like a very close knit community and I hope to meet some of you guys over the course of time.

I just bought a 91 NSX which I am told was imported from Japan 2 months ago. it had a little over 98,xxx km and came with a whole bunch of mods done to it. Marga Hills body kit and carbon fibre rear wing (wing may be for sale, not really my style), BBS LM rims, short shift throw kit, custom exhaust etc.

Car is just as I imagined it, and i love driving it as much as I can :) I've had numerous people stop and ask me about the car, usually they want to know which Ferrari it is, I always laugh and tell them its a Honda and they look at me funny.

I'm still driving it and hope to drive it for at least another week before its stored away, but i hope to get out to a few meets next year and meet up with some of you guys.

Wil

Welcome to the Canadian forum!

You picked up a beautiful car. It looks like what Dave's (Biobanker's) car should look like if it was the right colour and had the correct body panels and headlights.

Congrats!

Bought the car locally at a pretty good price, upon closer inspection, its got all the emblems shaved off, but the middle section in the rear taillights say Acura and not Honda, so probably right its not JDM. Whats weird is that my fm frequency on the stock radio runs from 68.5 to 89.2. Whats that all about??

Regarding the car, I had silverhill do the inspection and it came out perfect with the exception of a leaking cv boot and oil pan gasket. Crossing fingers and hoping it doesn't snow tonight like it looks like it may, i gotta drop car off for servicing tomorrow afternoon. :)

Drive it if it snows, big deal... :p Mine's filthy, just filthy right now. Driving in a suburb being built does not lead to a clean car, especially with the rain we got the other day.

Muddy NSXs are fun!

Car looks great, but then again I am very partial to Marga Hills products

There are a few lhd Nsxs that show up in Japanese auctions now and then, so I wouldn't doubt it that this might have been originally a north america car that was imported to japan and later imported back. Your radio is definitely jdm as their FM frequency range is very narrow.

I am sure the wing will sell on prime in no time. Sell me your wheels!

Cheers
John

Ha! hey wil ,I'm wil too... anyways, welcome to prime, seems like i've seen your car somewhere before... love those wheels!

Guys - You have enough cars out there to start a great NSXClub of Canada Chapter - Tell us where you want discounts from (Dealers, aftermarket) and we'll arrange it for you!

Another NSX in Calgary. Numbers are climbing for sure. Welcome. As mentioned definately not a JDM car. Be interested to know if it was a north american release or european release that ended up in Japan though. Certainly has had it's share of mileage (on boats) seeing the world.

It won't be a Euro car either, since it has our Lego block side markers, and not the nice ones on the upper fenders.

Hi Wil,

Congrats, and welcome, I too hope we will all keep our group active.
Nice to see more of these rare cars coming here, I think Calgary probably had the most New NSX owners this year in Canada.?

I was out enjoying the NSX for the last few weeks too, yesterday was +23 degrees, followed by a little snow in the evening hehe, but all gone now as we all know the weather is still holding, once the gravel drops its Hibernation.

I seen a sebring silver @ princess auto 2 weeks ago and I left him a note on his wiper blade to call me or check out NSXprime but no call or no posts from him, it looked pretty stock, but only silver I seen besides RJM's but his is newer silver.I think a few more popped up but are not members.

I forgot to mention to all, I allready get 20% off OEM Acura parts local , if anyone needs anything let me know!
I got stuff on order as I speak that was missing on the car, minor brackets and bolts for the intake cover and injector covers etc. Also scooped 10 tall filters OEM, ending in 004, a little overpriced but I wanted them.

We should definately set up another Calgary NSX meet, even if we can't bring our cars, just for supper and so everyone can meet each other.

Weathers nice next week, anyone want to get together for a quick cruise? I'm self employed so I can meet anytime. Weekends are pretty much out for me, i got 2 kids.

I don't work Monday and Tuesday, Friday between noon and 4 PM is also an option for me.

my cars being serviced at silverhill right now, suppose to get back late today or tomorrow. I guess Friday afternoon may be the only option. Friday weather is 6 degrees and sunny. Will cross my fingers.
